The Alumni Challenge is proud to support the V Foundation for Cancer Research. In the spirit of sport and teamwork, The Alumni Challenge strives to raise critical funding leading to ground-breaking discoveries and life-saving treatments.
The V Foundation for Cancer Research was founded by ESPN and legendary basketball coach Jim Valvano with one goal in mind: to achieve Victory Over Cancer®. Since its formation in 1993, the V Foundation has awarded over $225 million in cancer research grants nationwide.

Join the Fundraising Challenge today and help support the fight against cancer. 100% of your donations will benefit the V Foundation for Cancer Research.

Participants that fundraise over $100 will be entered to win a VIP Sports Experience at the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden in NYC!

Individual Fundraising Incentives

$100 – 10 entries in to win VIP Experience contest (Must raise at least $100 to be in the contest)

For every $100 raised after the initial $100, fundraiser will receive an additional 10 entries into the VIP Experience contest

$200 – 20 total entries to win VIP Experience contest

$500 – 50 entries to VIP Experience plus upgraded registration to included free parking, additional premium item and 2 extra complimentary drink tickets

$1,000 – 100 entries to win VIP Experience contest
The winner of the VIP Experience will be announced on November 25. Donations will be accepted through November 24 at 11:59pm.
Specialty Awards

Top Overall Fundraiser will be recognized at the event and will receive the Top Overall Fundraiser Award

Top Fundraising Relay Team will be given a complimentary space in the tailgate area and receive the Top Team Award

The school or university with the highest amount of money raised will be honored at the event and will receive the Alumni Challenge Champion Award that will be presented at the event
Fundraising deadline for all specialty awards will be Friday, November 15 at 8:00pm.
